A good condiment to serve with chicken, pork, beef and fish. Also good mixed into cooked rice.
makes approx. 1 1/2 cups
- 1 mango, ripe, chopped
- 1T local honey or maple syrup (see Product List)
- Zest and juice of 1 lime
- about 2T red onion, chopped
- about 2T red pepper, chopped
- about ½ fresh jalapeno, minced
- season with salt (see Product List)
Also good with pineapple substituted for the mango.
